He Cried ...

He cried, “Master, save me!”
Jesus didn’t hesitate. He reached down and grabbed his hand.
Matthew 14:30b-31a The Message

Have you reached the end of your rope? Said to yourself lately, “I just can’t take it anymore!” What do you do in those moments? To whom do you cry?

Three simple words changed Peter’s future – “Master, save me!” First, he surrendered, acknowledging Jesus as “Master”. Then he presented his need – “save me.” “Immediately [without hesitation] Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.”
Matthew 14:31a NIV

What an easy example to follow – choose Jesus as Master (ruler, governor, director of your life) and then present your need. Since Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8), be encouraged in realizing He longs to be gracious to you …
Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!
Isaiah 30:18 NIV

What will you do with those powerful three little words? “Master, save me!”
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
Philippians 4:6-7 The Message

More encouragement and instructions can be found in the Holy Bible. Read it for yourself and learn about the most amazing things! Don’t know where to start? Start with the RED letters … the words Jesus spoke, many of which can be found in the first four books of the New Testament (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John). As you read with an open heart, prayerfully ask, “God, what would you say to me? What would you have me do with this?” You’ll find a completely new life opening up to you!
